The digital Model 760 is a digital
vacuum instrument intended for laboratory, industrial refrigeration, and
scientific use.
The 760 senses vacuum by measuring
a pressure strain sensor exposed to a vacuum. .25% accuracy. Its digital
display reads vacuum in one mm increments from 1 to 760 mm. A switch allows
scaling to switch to 0-199 mm with 1/10th mm resolution. The 760
offers greater speed and better resolution and readability than analog
(pointer) meter instruments presently in use. Because all
linearization and temperature compensation are done electronically, no user
calibration or adjustment is ever necessary. The rugged ABS plastic
case and absence of moving parts make the 760 rugged enough to stand up to
years of punishment in refrigeration field service use and other similar
applications. The 760's state of the art design includes a precision
band-gap voltage reference, CMOS devices, a liquid crystal display, a
precision low drift amplifier, and an industry standard interchangeable
vacuum sensor.
Because of its resolution, and
fast response, the 760 is well suited for troubleshooting. The effect of
small changes can be seen virtually instantaneously, and the readings are
inherently free of parallax. The instrument can be fitted with
controller outputs and multi-probe switching. Consult factory for details. |
