Information on VIT Traps

Replacement Parts for all 4.5" and 9" VIT Traps

Installation for HyVac 2 or 30L

1. Get HyVac PST sealant to seal all threaded joints.
2. 3/8" NPT X 6" pipe replaces hose nipple in HyVac 2.
3. Attach 3/8" FNPT X 3/4" FNPT reducing 90 degree elbow to 6" pipe.
4. Attach 3/4" NPT x 3/4" NPT 2" close nipple to 90 degree elbow.
5. Remove 3/4" NPT hose nipple on outlet side of Vacuum Inlet Trap and spin on Vacuum Inlet Trap.
6. Adapt inlet side of Vacuum Inlet Trap to accommodate system fittings.

Standard plumbing parts needed for assembly:
(1) 3/8"MNPT X 3/8"MNPT X 6" close nipple
(1) 3/8" X 3/4" 90 degree female elbow
(1) 3/4"MNPT X 3/4"MNPT X 2" close nipple
(1) tube HyVac PST sealant
